Flip Chip VS Wire Bond

The advantages of COB technology itself have become the focus of the market, and flip-chip COB has raised COB technology to a new height. COB itself is a multi-LEDs integrated bracket-free packaging technology that directly encapsulates the light-emitting chip on the PCB board. The tedious surface mount process is omitted, and there is no soldering foot of the bracket. The LED chip and soldering wire of each pixel are tightly encapsulated in the colloid by epoxy resin, without any exposed elements, provides protection for LED chips, it can solve the problem of damage to pixels caused by external factors. Flip-chip COB can greatly increase the current density, improve the stability and light efficiency of LED lamps, and the flip-chip structure can well meet such needs with high reliability, on the basis of the advantages of fine pixel pitch wire bond COB, high reliability and non-dazzling surface light sources to further improve the stability of LED displays, simplify production processes, and achieve better display effects, which can achieve chip-level spacing and reach the level of Micro LED.

 

Common Cathode VS Common Anode LED

The conventional LED display adopts the common anode (positive pole) power supply mode, the current flows from the PCB board to the LED lamps, with common anode LED lamps and the corresponding driver IC and RGB LEDs are used for unified power supply. "Common cathode" refers to the common cathode (negative pole) power supply method, using common cathode LED lamp beads and a special common cathode driver IC scheme, R and GB are separately powered, and the current passes through the LED lamp beads and then goes to the IC cathode. After using the common cathode, we can directly supply different voltages according to the different requirements of the diode for the voltage, so there is no need to configure a voltage divider resistor to reduce the energy consumption of this part, and the display brightness and display effect are not affected, the energy saving can be increased by 25%~ 40%.

Create the consistency of pure ink color, the black area of a single pixel is as high as 99%, adopting top LED panel ink color processing technology, the surface non-reflective treatment craft, the pixel surface is smooth and hard, with anti-knock, anti-collision, shock-proof, pressure-resistant, waterproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof, oil-proof, anti-oxidation, anti-static and other performance, high stability and easy maintenance, giving people a wonderful visual experience, when the screen turned off, the color uniformity of the whole LED screen is much better.

Effectively reduce moiré

The COB packaged micro pitch LED display screen adopts a high fill factor optical design, which emits evenly and is similar to a "surface light source", effectively reducing moiré. Its matte coating technology could significantly improve contrast ratio, reduce glare, and effectively resist blue light hazard. Not only reduce the visual fatigue of human eyes, but also can take high-definition video or photos under the camera or camcorder which is suited to long-term viewing and screen shooting applications (such as lecture halls, studios, etc.).

 

Reliable protection to reduce dead pixel rate

The COB packaging technology encapsulates the LED pixels on the PCB board to achieve full sealing of the PCB circuit board, crystal particles, solder pins and down leads. The pixel surface is smooth and hard, with anti-knock, anti-collision, shock-proof, pressure-resistant, waterproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof, oil-proof, anti-oxidation, anti-static and other performance, high reliability and easy maintenance, daily cleaning and maintenance can directly wipe the surface stains with a damp cloth, the adopt of COB packaging technology makes the dead pixel rate and the out-of-control rate of the entire screen are controlled below one millionth. The fanless design not only reduces noise but also reduces fault points, ensuring that the LED screen will hardly generate any maintenance costs during working time.
